Differences between elements in CSS, which sounds similar
1.visibility vs display
Options: i) visibility: hidden / visible
ii)display: none/inline/block
Difference : "visibility" will occupy the screen space even if it is hidden. But "display" will not take up any screen space if it is invisible(display:none).
NB: Use 'display' attribute more, as on need basis the screen space will be occupied.
2. readonly vs disbaled
Both of the above attributes can be used to make the HTML elements non-editable.
But the additional thing that Disabled does is, the user cant even highlight to copy the text, not to select the checkbox etc. Also those disabled fields are not been submitted to the server, in subsequent post backs.
So better to use disabled, if we want to make the control readonly as well as in accessible by the user in all means. :-)
For Example:
It's important to understand that merely prevents the user from changing the value of the field, not from interacting with the field. For many types of fields, is irrelevent because you don't normally change the value. In checkboxes, for example, you can check them on or off (thus setting the state) but you don't change the value of the field. , however, actually prevents you from using the field. Notice in these examples that you can set the checkboxes even though they are "read only":

My heartfelt words on Independence Day!!!
As all are wishing, I am also wishing u a (so called) happy Independence Day, but I felt sorry for what we are celebrating. L
We are celebrating this day, as we got freedom from British people on this day, but are u sure??? Have we actually got the freedom?
Sorry to say they have created just an illusion of being free. Though we have very rich culture, we are still following theirs. In the name of Modern civilization we keep on cultivating slow poison in our country & trying to spread it even in small villages, where people are so simple, true from their heart...
In the name of Fast Food we are eating all Junks!!!
In the name of fashion, our attires are getting shorter & shorter!!!
In the name of time pass, we are getting attracted to Pubs & Discos, smoking boozing & doing all nonsense things!!!
In the name of women liberalization more sexual harassment, rapes & divorce cases are getting registered!!!
In the name of politics, ministers & bureaucrats are doing mostly false propagandas & cheating, bribery is continuously cranking up our country from the inside!!!
And last but not least, in the name of globalization we are killing our own people & our Swadeshi industries / products!!!
If I am not wrong, Its Mahatma Gandhi whom we give maximum credit for achieving our freedoms, then why we are not following any of his principles??? I think by discarding the foreign items, he has strengthened his mission to its maximum.
If we have followed his principles & abide our own culture then by now we must have reached to such a stage where in all means we would be self sufficient.
I don't deny the progress that we have achieved, but look at China. It got her independence far late then us & where are they standing now??? If we investigate deep in to World History we can get many such examples where the county & its citizen have reached to the pinnacle of success, achieved ultimate peace & harmony... All by not selling out their own culture & civilization, but by strictly abiding to them.
May be my voice is insignificant & has the reach to very few people, but still if it can hit few attentions, then it can bring revolution. Please give it a thought.
If possible please pass this message to every Indian & kindle the inner fire. The revolution can start if our youth can initiate it...

Three last wishes!!!
Alexander, the great Greek king, after conquering many kingdoms, was returning home. On the way, he fell ill and it took him to his death bed. So, the mighty conqueror lay prostrate and pale, helplessly waiting to breathe his last.

At this Alexander took a deep breath and said: "I would like the world to know of the three lessons I have just learnt. I want my physicians to carry my coffin because people should realize that no doctor can really cure any body. They are powerless and cannot save a person from the clutches of death. The second wish of strewing gold, silver and other riches on the way to the graveyard is to tell people that not even a fraction of gold will come with me.
